Need help identifying this uniform...probably before WW1 and maybe Polish or Russian?

I found this pic in a box of family photos and I am trying to get more information about it through identifying the uniform.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Definitely not Polish. My guess would be Imperial Russian, from turn of the last century. I'll move your question over to that forum for the comments of the experts over there.
