Order St Anne Medal - original?

Hi Guys,

Bought this medal many years ago in my youth, can anyone tell me if this is an original (it was bought as an original, but the fret work between the arms seems a little crude).

It appears to a fine example. The ring is marked 56 and mark can be seen in your photos. The eagle mark is c;ear under the enamel on the upper arm and on the lower arm the maker's mark should be visible. Eduard and Keibel were major producers of orders. I can't see the mark clearly enough to say which but with a magnifying glass it should be legible.

Thanks for the response, the makers mark looks like AK - does this fit in with Eduard and Keibel as maker.

The Keibel firm are ancestors of mine, and I've recently become interested in acquiring a piece on behalf of my family. Any advice on where to find them at a "reasonable" price? Also, do you have pictures of what their makers' marks look like?
