    Default The Bulgarian Brannik organization

From December 1940 to September 1944, Brannik was the official /and the only/ organization of the Bulgarian boys and girls. Made in resemblance to the HJ, after the commies came to power it was abolished and the Brannik items were mass destroyed by their owners, as these could bring big trouble. So, finding Brannik stuff for the collection is not easy, even in Bulgaria!

Here is what I have collected so far, I hope you will enjoy these seldom seen things

A pity but both knives are in poor shape. One still has the Bulgarian maker emblem and the "Duty and Honor" words are erased, only traces from the letters can be seen with the help of a little fantasy

Some Bevo style patches. These may have been made in Germany, I have seen on another forum a test cloth from a German insignia factory, they were testing the machines and there were different parts of eagles and other insignia, plus a B letter just like these.

The small notebook is a kind of handbook of the organization. Starts with picture of the King, then a picture of the Prime Minister, a picture of the Brannik Commander, then all kinds of rules of the organization, its aims, activities, structure, calendar, etc. etc.
