Hi Doug,
Thank you for sharing pictures of such a unusual item, if it's original like it seems to be it's prior to King Peter II ,who is "associated" with later Chetnik movement.
Do you still have the skull and have you been able to find anything else about it?
Forgot to add, on one side it says "for fatherland" (za otacbinu) and the other side "Duke?" (Vojvoda) but I can't make out what is underneath Duke. Better picture might help.
What I find most puzzling about the carving is how well it seems to have been done, but then the carved words are very amateur like?

After initially researching the piece I never found any additional information about the piece.
I do still have it and it’s just ended up in a box
When I get chance I’ll try to discover more but as the hunt goes on my research leads me to research the new additions to the collection.
