Dutch Communal police helmets and equipment ?

Hello,

I'm sure I've seen a wartime photo of the Dutch communal police outside a barracks on parade wearing (I assume ) black painted German helmets and with German or ex Dutch army ammo pouches on the right of the belt.
Did they wear German helmets or would they have issued with Dutch helmets ?

From what i can make out on the net they wore both Dutch and German lids, but there seem to be far more photos of them with Dutch helmets!..

The EK picture also shows the Dutch helmets in the background .
The German version is a very hard to find helmet , and ( of course ) widely faked ..
