Help with Bulgarian M-36 helmet

I obtained this Bulgarian helmet due to it being in good condition and at a good price even though it is not an area that I collect. It appears to be a type 2 with original paint and no tri-color decal. I am wondering if it is an original WW2 helmet or if it has been reworked for postwar use.
Any assistance is appreciated.

Postwar reworked M36 C helmet. Paint, strap and liner are all postwar.
