My brother bought this at a flea market for 30.00 back 30 years ago,traded him out of it about 15 years ago.Matching blade and scabbard,think its an original Japanese NCO sword,looks unmessed with,hope so,anyone know these?

Yep it's good I have a pair of these buggers. but my cross guards are different to yours.

Thanks Map for the opinion and link,appreciate it!!rene those are very nice,thanks for showing them!Grips look the same,but yours have a better looking brass guard ,this later one they went to iron sounds like,they needed the brass for other more important things ,like to find an example like yours.Hope you are doing well,still would like to visit there someday.
