Spanish WWII Helmet?
Recently I bought this helmet labelled as a Spanish World War II German made Helmet. I bought it for 35 British Pounds or 50 USD. I just wanted to know any thought you had about my purchase. Too expensive, a fake or a great deal?

I think you paid around the right price. It is a Spanish made, Spanish Army M42 pattern helmet which has been officially refurbished in the 1970's as it has a 1979 pattern liner and post 1975 eagle on the front (a Royal Crown was added to the design on that date). Doug
As said by Douglas it's a Spanish made lid, A few German m35s were used by Spain but this isn't one of them, your lid has a raw edge and you can see the M35 has a rolled edge. A nice lid for £35!....
right price, definitely nice salty example.
