Hello All,
I saw the skull first of all and just have to have it.
I was then offered the two Eagles....They were a must. So all three now reside with me.
Okay now the story. A Grandmother embroidered these items as there were no insignia available to the troops.
They were sooooo cheap that it really would not have been worthwhile buying a needle and thread to make them.
I am intrigued with this little group and even if considered a piece of junk I don't mind.
If you note on the smaller (cap eagle) there are white lines below...obviously the pattern to sew on to. Note the camouflage material they are sewn on to, coloured one side winter pattern the other. No doubt someone will be able to recognise it?
Anyway I just thought they might cheer someone else up...They did me.
Enjoy.....
FIRST UP THE SKULL
NOW THE EAGLES
Cheers
Doug
