I collect, therefore I am.
Nothing in science can explain how consciousness arose from matter.
Thanks Stefan for the link. I convinced at least one of the pictures is of a bus...
I have to say that I love the mudguards on the photo you posted.
If the grills are anything to go by, I'm thinking Citroen (though it looks a tad large....)?
Cheers
You know - though they may not look very elegant, I do believe that Pictures 2, 5 and 6 would be quite good at producing ricochets.
They look like something out of a 1930s+ Hollywood science fiction movie. I'm expecting to see Michael Rennie any moment!
Cue the lasers and eerie theremin music...
I agree Mike, they do have a retro-future sci-fi look about them

Odd ducks.
Fascinating oddities; would indeed not look out of place in a many a sci-fi flick.
As for the effectiveness of the armor plating... I don't claim to know much about ballistics, but I would not be surprised if the rounded shapes of the vehicles seen in photos no. 2, 5 and 6 of post # 2 and especially the overall sloping shapes of the one in no. 3 of post # 2 were actually pretty good at deflecting incoming projectiles and shrapnel.
Some wacky looking vehicles there, but some very interesting designs!...
