The Schuma of all the territories held-including the Ukraine-wore all sorts of different caps and, yes, helmets. Since they were basically Auxiliary Police units, they had to make do with whatever uniforms and equipment they were given. I have seen photos of Schuma wearing old Dutch helmets(without the medallion on the front) as well as the Czech Model 34 and any number of other odd bits and pieces-they were even given old Black SS uniforms to use.

Schutzmannschaft units in the field used whatever they could get their hands upon. They usually used the Romanian or Dutch helmets with Schuma decals.
I have seen one German ww1 used Schuma/volunteer helmet with a baltic handpainted insignia. And two Dutch helmets w schuma decal.
