After a little time off (house renovation) again an update of a part of my collection.
Here a Truppenfuhrer of the Turkistan Legion.
The jacket is a converted dutch army jacket. The breast eagle is original but seems to be attached later. The armshield is original but I attached it myself. On the left breast pocket are two thread loops for a medal. Above the breast pocket another thread loop. The jacket has several repairments and no stamps on the inside.

I had the chance to get an untouched Turkestan HBT tunic some weeks ago. But i am not so interested in HBTs, so i let it go. I traded me a green schuma jacket, but this thread is not about those guys- this is the reason for not showing it to you here in this tread.
Unfortunately both the shashkas are modern Chinese fakes, the whole ebay are selling them. There improper words, simulated Cyrillic inscription

Interesting construction.
Here is a hard to get tunic i have in my archive. I dont have many pics on this computer.
It is an officer WSS tunic reissued for an ROA 1st lt.
It is an most interesting historical item in my eyes.
Looks great, I have a almost similair set on a german jacket.

I have seen a jacket with similar collartabs for sale, that one had the volunteer chest insignia, but also without the shoulderboards.
I believe these red collartabs had red or white shoulderbords, or am i totally wrong now? I dont have my books here to check myself.
frei- do you have any schuma caps, tunics?
