A Waffen-SS flag "Viken Bataljon"

Very rare double-sided flag used by Norwegian volunteers. Made of heavy red material, stitched rampant lion with axe and "Viken Bataljon" lettering. Dimensions 72 x 50 cm with pole sleeve. Attached to the corner is a 5 x 4 cm US Army tag, labelled (tr.): "OQMG captured enemy equipment, location: Possenhofen, Germany, date: 13 April 1945, item Norwegian Nazi SS unit flag. (ref CIC SHAEF)". Very rare. USA-lot, see page 5.
