Our own "Baby Bovington" ....... a great museum and a while since I was there... thanks Rene!!

Another tank museum to visit is the RAAC tank museum at Puckapunyal Royal Australian Armoured Corps Tank Museum - Puckapunyal Australia
And for weapons the Singleton Army barracks small arms museum is well worth a visit Australian Army Infantry Museum

Just two of Australia's hidden gems ...

They are partly made of kangaroo fur, they were good boots when you got them broken in, still have 4 or 5 pairs...
The bandianna museum houses most of the Service corps museum collections, eg Roysl Australian Corps of Transport, catering, RAEME, ordinance and medical....

I was reading about the 2 pounder SP Carrier a couple of days ago-an unsuccessful attempt to get the gun mobile. Great pictures of the collection-I remember seeing a couple of the Mini Mokes running around the Irwin Barracks at Karrakatta in the early 80s.
