    My friend Eldon Freeman ( Bob ) Roberts, 2 Platoon, B Company, North Shore NB Regiment was the 2nd Canadian Soldier to set foot on Juno Beach 72 years ago today and he is still going strong !

    Here we are in Dunkirk last May 2015

    What can you say about these blokes? Brave, heroic, inspirational, the greatest generation etc....there's nothing that can be said that expresses it properly. We owe them all the quality of life we enjoy today.
