    There were also a small section with soldiers KIA during the Great War. I don't know why they're buried here.

    That's all folks.
    It is a nice place to rest. Sunny, green and well look after.
    Nothing to compare with cemeteries in Normandy...it's not very big.
    It's close to the mediterranean sea...

    Chris,
    German lost 1600 men in Corsica (1000 KIA)
    Italians : 637 KIA and 557 wounded
    Partisans : 170 KIA and 3130 wounded
    Free French Troops : 75 KIA and 239 wounded.
    Corsica has been the first part of France that was liberated...
