German military graves

When in Guernsey recently I visited the Garrison Cemetery in Fort George which contains 111 German war graves relating to the Second World War.

I took a few photos, enclosed below, that might be of interest to Forum members.

Thanks for the photos.. How did these soldiers die? Was it through fighting there or accidents ? Cheers Terry.

Harry – Sorry, but these were the only two I took. On reflection, I should have clicked them all.

Nice pics you took, it is interesting to see the cemeteries of W.W.2, i remember seeing some german cemeteries in normandy i think the youngest was 17yrs old there. thanks for putting them on.
