This one has alway stuck with me
Look at the contrast between the two M60 gunners featured one after the other - the digger with the short link belt on the gun for ease of fire and movement, another 40 rounds ready to go in his basic pouch , no slings on weapons whilst patrolling and shit basically wired tight - compare to the bloke festooned with ammo carrying the gun on his shoulder and water bottle around his neck!
The former is still taught exactly to this day as the way to do business at the school of inf..!
