    The Isle of Man was used by the allies quite a bit during the war, there are two WW2 airfields here as well as a load of old gun/machine gun pillboxes.
    I will try and make a collection of those I come across starting with this post at a place called Brada Head. it faces Ireland.
    Please excuse the ugly mug on the photo.

    I live at the foot of Bradda 😍 there are a few around the island.and some great crash sites to explore

    Not a pill box but a memorial to the crew of a B17 crashed in the latter stages of the war.

    You can't beat a good pillbox, I just cannot drive past one without stopping for a look.

    Here are a couple more from the Castletown area.
    One is larger than the rest with air vents on the roof, the other is hexagon shaped, sadly they have been left to ruin and farmers have been using them for livestock.
    Interesting is the blast wall in front of the entrance in the second pill box.
