    Indeed wood!
    Display cases were opend and items handled and often not put back!
    I remember a very nice worked out pistol of Von Rundstedt laying there in one of the cabinets, never ever seen it again!

    The best part of the museum is in there reseves, in the basements. No open for the public but boy, what a collection they got NOT on display...

    some 14.000 items are not on display. They got like 20 german T-rifles spare...
    STGW44 up to the roof.

    Nearly all Belgian musea have more in theyre reserves then they can display!
    I was there in order to copy a fallschirmjägergewehr in resin, but never started the project, after finding out that Shoei all ready did.... in that same museum.

    Sad news!
    Museum visits had been free for as long as I know, but it is coming to a end.
    You'll have to show €'s to get in, starting next year.

    In the news yesterday, but old news in fact.
    The royal jeep disappeared.......
    Also missing (according to the article!) are two planes and some tanks.
    This is going on for ages.....
