Saaremaa is a large Island off the coast of Estonia and holds a strategic position in the Baltic Sea and the Bay of Riga , as such it saw heavy fighting both in 1941 and 1944.

Here are some photos of one of the private Museums on the Island.Museum Saaremaa Estonia !!

Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

What a super grouping of artifacts Paul. Some of the ordinance is alittle scary looking. They probably scraped the explosives out with a pocket knife. Great photos thanks for posting.
