Great photos! Love the Allach figurines, never seen the Terrier? one before
Great thread Ade.
I really like these kinds of threads. They give a perspective that you can't get
by watching the TV documentaries. Plus they are just plain entertaining, especially
for those of us who will never be able to make the trip in person.
Tell your friend she has a very good eye for taking pictures.

Yes indeed, the photo's are very professional, i am very envious.
I was in Dunkirk last weekend for the 75th Anniversary and also attended the Museum which was very good. I dont tend to take many photo's unfortunately, was good to see the image of the Dunkirk museum even though I was only inside it last week !
Thanks for this thread, Ade. The museum exhibits in post # 13 are of particular interest. (For some reason, I especially like the painting of the assorted Warsaw Pact NCOs.) One of these days, I should really go to Dresden...
Here is the pack I mentioned in post 8:

Thanks for all the pictures in the posting Ade. Some very nice places you have visited over there, and what superb items you have seen!
Cheers,
Steve.

Just got back from the Colditz trip - your photos are almost identical to mine! Even the scaffording is still on the barrackhouse on the way down to the Tiergarten
