    Site #7: Church in Wolnicz

    Accidentally bombed by Austrian-Hungarian forces during WWI, parishioners repaired the church and placed replicas of the shells in the same spots where the building was hit.

    Me and my dad were only in this village for a few hours, we stopped by to see an old friend. Challenge: can you spot all 3 shells?

    Site #8: Cementary in Wolnicz

    There are a few unique places at this cementary.

    First is a Austrian Hungarian military section...

    Second, is a unique burial monument. The family's son (represented on the far left bell),
    was a political prisoner who was pushed around various concentration camps until he was
    finally executed (as I was told).
