Yes the armoury bunker, it was still sealed when i went and about 4 feet of water around it

I was fortunate to make it there back in '07. amazing experience. I got to visit Omaha beach and the US cemetery as well. Was the bunker at the edge of the cliff open or is that the armory bunker referred to earlier? When we were there we were told the bunker was closed for safety due to the cliff eroding below it.

They are fixing the cliff to be able to enter the bunker.
The armory I was thinking about is the bunker that has not been open since D-day full of weapons.
I do not think it will be ever open.

I was there back last April, miserable weather but an absolutely amazing experience. I'd give anything to go back.

Hi chris,
Great to have items from there, i dont think much was left after the bombing, i have a helmet in my collection from there and it is ina bit of a state, but worth keeping.
