    Hey folks,

Last year I was on family visit in Kraków, Poland. Underway I stopped at the Soviet war cemetery in Boslawiec. Its one of the few war cemeteries in the world reserved for KIA Heroes of the Soviet Union and officers. There is also a war cemetery for common soldiers in Boslawiec, but I didnt visit that one.

    Gr,

Very nice to see the good and caring attitude to the graves of Soviet soldiers.
    Best Regards.

The cemetery is in good condition, but the memorial park (last pic) is in very bad condition. Still worth the visit.

141 Soviet Heroes of the Soviet Union and senior officers are buried on this cemetery. They all died in the fight for the Oder in 1945.
