I don't find this museum
14-18 / Les musées dédiés à la Guerre 14-18 dans la Somme < Picardie

I know it's on Austramlan troops because I saw it in a film about the history of a soldier coming from Austaly by boat. He was killed during the first attack against German MG. The regiment lost many men and corpses stayed on the ground, Germans buried them (400) and some corpses were found some years ago.

Thanks for posting those photos - looks like a very interesting museum.

Am I alone in thinking there is something slight disquieting about seeing the uniforms on the ground - perhaps a deliberate reminder of the dead.

very interesting museum with a unique way of presenting military pieces. with everything laid out on the floor it almost seems more like a memorial or gravesite. hope to get to this great display some day. thanks for showing.
