    I did think that myself John! Why hasn't it been perserved?. But I suppose you can't look after every battle site!! Cheers Terry.

    here are a few pre ww1 postcards I picked up at a car boot last year, looks like hougoumont was still a working farm back then,

    I understand there are problems with the Hougoumont,no one lives there now.
