    Default WW2 preperation sites Perth, West oz.

    Hi guys. Im a photographer here in Perth , West Australia.
    Although Perth and our state didnt get bombed or attacked from the japs we were ready for the attack.
    The northern coast of Australia (Darwin) was bombed but thats about how far they made it.
    Last weekend i drove around to a couple of the sites that have been saved and declared heratage listed so no development is aloud so it can be saved.
    Here is a couple shots i took.
    Leighton Battery

    BUCKLAND HILL

    Broome had an air raid in March of 42 ,caught quite a few flying boats at anchor, big civilian lose of life
    great photos by the way !

    Gee didnt know that about Broome. I will be going there in a few months. Will have to see if they have anything to take pics of
