Why do they call these "3D"?
3D means 3 dimensions, but we're talking about photoshop work here, which is 2D.
3D would be making actual models. Do you do that too, Vlad?

To my understanding these are models, done in 3DsMAX.

So the poster who said they are only pictures was wrong?
Can we please clear this up for us new to this technology. Vlad, please explain. Are the daggers 3D models made of plastic and put on top of pictures of a banner and photographed, or are we just manipulating photos here?

They arent physical objects. Modelling in a 3DMax software means, that you create a digital model of an object. Artifacts in video games are made using this technology.

Thanks, Aleksander for clearing this up. So we're talking about "the ilusion of 3D". The 3D printers that print, say, a functioning gun, are real 3D, a whole different technology.
