DRK Hewer, new to my collection.

Article about: Nice salty DRK hewer Ralph! I have owned quite a few of these Hewers and they are a lot of steel for their value. I guess you have a Klaas here, its has the lower scabbard fitting with the 2

    Ger & Ralph,
I think Ger is probably right about location, region or city. Would love to know as I have always wondered myself.

Ralph...Send me one of those display cases X 10. Did you make them yourself my friend?

    Well done!
I would agree with Ger's line of thought on the markings.
Rossi, that is a very nice minty example, let me guess, one of your grandfather's acquisitions?
Yes, I make most of my display cases now.
You can see another one I made for my Japanese sword here.
    My small Japanese collection.

A vendor at the SOS sells cases like this and everything display related. They are a lot more than Riker mounts but they do look great.

Actually I bought that one. I got all minted up one day and had to go all crossgraining or go home. Love your cases bud! Craftsman!!!
