    They indeed are the first examples early on, Ivan. And not that often seen.

    Earliest ones have full stag grips and the only maker of the early ones were Eickhorn should have the double oval squirell. Nice one!

    One screw short on the scabbard ? I give Ivan. It looks like the one on our site, I believe.

    There is only one screw on upper fitting and is positioned much lower than usual.
