Fighting / Boot Knife

Article about: Hi, I have a chance to get it and it looks ok in my eyes, although I am unable to decipher the maker and it looks like the grips have been refinished. Any feedback is appreciated - thanks !

    I have one marked: hat 1942. Don't remember off the top of my head who that code is.

    This is an Infanteriemesser 42

    The maker´s code hat 1942 stands for the manufacturer Gebrüder Gräfrath, Fabrik feiner Stahlwaren, Solingen-Widdert

    The guard on the Yugoslav is wider than your knife's,Sarge. The sheath throat screw on yours is alot lower than the OP's too. The grip is pretty similar!
