A very nice Fire Service sidearm (Feuerwehr-Faschinenmesser) bearing the trademark of Lingenbrugger & Ellermann, Bielefeld. Not a maker but actually a distributer of Fire Service items and equipment. Their trademark of a fire helmet over the initials L&E is striking and unique. Some pieces have been observed by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen that are also marked with the E&L distributer. There is a good chance that your bayonet is an unmarked Eickhorn piece as it has their "look." Looks as if there are some scratches over the trademark area? My thoughts only .....

Nice one I have one just like it with a matching maker marked frog, rare mark as it is the only one to incorparate a swastika in its design, which may explain the scratch marks as a possible failed attempt at denazification.
