Hi ҒλĿĉōn, your dagger is a cut down K98 bayonet or made from bayonet parts.
Cheers, Ade.
It has Coppel G.M.B.H. on it!
Hi, Erich !
Great knive´s !
Every single one of them is worth to shown extra !
@ Dimas: Also Your´s ! ! !
I want to "wake up" this thread !
Let´s see your "Fighting"-knive´s, "Boot"-knive´s, "Trench"-knive´s ... !
Come on, mates !
Here I´m gonna show an, (unmarked ), "Infanteriemesser 42" of the Wehrmacht.
Cheers,
R.
Good idea. I have already showed you my german ones, but I have some more. This is my 3 "Couteau poignard Mle 1916". This actually a french trench knife, but the germans bring lots of them to Norway, during WW2.
Best Regards agv44
The "Vengeur" is a really good lookin´ knife !
It´s fact, that most of this type of fighting-knive´s, (also other´s, like the German "PUMA"), were coming down from Skandinavia after ´45 !
Sweden , for example, was testing, (and also introducing), some of them for it´s own Army.
Also some other models of WWII fighting-knive´s, (not only German, also US-Pattern knive´s !), after the war !
It might well be, that the second "Vengeur" I´m showin´ here, is such a one of them ... ?
P.S.:
BTW, this french knive´s were used in the Wehrmacht as: "Dagger 116 (f)"
Nice Vengeurs you got there Reibert
Yes, lots of nice stuff ended up in scandinavia during the war. I also have some US knives, and maybe I will start a new thread with these soon? Here are my Puma
BTW: Sweden was neutral in WW2, and all their vengeurs and other fighting knives used by the germans are traded from Norway after the war.
Here´s a PUMA with a different marked blade.
I hope, other mates also´ll show theirs knive´s soon here in this thread ?
P.S.:
Your´s PUMA show´s the blade of an "Infanteriemesser 42" !
Never saw this before ...
Puma knives with this blade are the most common type in Norway. The version with bowie blade style like yours are not seen so often. I still miss it, and you are a lucky person
Yes, lets hope other shows us theirs knives
