    Hi, Steve !

    Thx. for sharing !

    Wanna see more !

    Are you experienced in US-Style and US-made fighting-knive´s ?

From another mate in an other forum I received this US KaBar-style knife as a gift.

Could this be a "Kiffe" ?

The knife show´s good workmanship and the well-known pressed leather-discs hilt.
    Sadly it´s heavilly used ...

A little bird has told me, that knive´s like this were produced in the sixtees by Kiffe-Japan and were private purchased from US-Soldier´s they used them further in Vietnam.

    Rgds.,

Hello Reibert, yes your knife is Kiffe. a Japanese copy of the WW2 US "ka-bar" style knife. They were fairly good quality knives, and they were very popular in the Vietnam years with the US soldiers.

I know quite a bit about US military knives, and many more nice ones I will dig out sometime and post more pics.

    Regards, steve

    Bayo Points 14

I´appreciate, if you show more pic´s of you US-knive´s.

    BTW:

This thread is headed: "German bootknives" but IMO it make´s sense to continuing to show fighting knive´s and boot-knive´s also from other countries.

What do you other guy´s think ?

    Cheers,

    R.
