My Grandfather brought this home in 45-46.
I dont have the story about how he captured it.
Just thought everyone might like to see it.

Well, that is the scabbard that has been with the knife since My Grandfather Captured it.

There could be many reasons why scabbards were interchanged.

P.S.:
The Infanteriemesser 42, p.e., sometimes is seen with this kind of scabbard.
That scabbard´s, IMO, were made during WWII.
