Hey Deluxxe....The bayonet itself looks good but wait for better eyes for the grip eagle. Could you post a close up of the grip eagle itself as the photos do not enlarge for a closer view. Thanks..Regards Larry

Hello,
in germany the police had some different structures.
browns leather indicates not Police (Polizei = untis in a city). This is Landjägerei (northern provinces) or Gendamerie (southern provinces). This structures were in the most German countries until the end of the 1980´e years.
