Help Identify Dagger

I was left this dagger by my Grandfather when he died and I can't for the life of me figure out when and where it was from. Any help Identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

search in the 1850's on naval dirks, this type is also called: lady knive
see for example the Sykes Fairbairn site:
