I do not have any history. My father died a couple years ago. All I know is he picked it up later in the war. I will probably list the item on this site after I figure how to do so. And see what else I want to sell. I know I have a German bayonet too, and as I recall maybe some patches or buckles. Anyway, thank you all for the feedback.
That is a very nice desirable maker SA Dagger you have there. The polished blade lets it down a little , but it is showing light wear, and a fair amount of original finish left on the scabbard
I would not let it go a penny under £525. I think that equates roughly to 620 Euros or $870
Whilst I believe that this would easily command that price on a dealers site, where the audience can be somewhat larger, You should remember that if you SELL to a dealer, you would not realise so much. Selling here would be your best bet. Take offers on it, but keep around that price, you'll sell it, I know one person on here that would (not me)
Is the dagger you want to sell the early one with makers mark you showed in the pics? Because you mentioned in your first post something about an M7/11 (which would be then a late RZM dagger)
This dagger on the pictures is in quite nice condition and I would see its value around 600 Euro and/or $870.
