Below is an image of an example of items laid out by a German POW for inspection by his American captors in March of 1918. See the red circled area and you will view one of the type of knives discussed amongst the POW's kit.

And as the post by Gwar clearly points out, having DRGM is no guarantee that something was made during the Third Reich (or before) as the designation was used in Germany until 1952.
