Need help to identify knife

Need some help with verifying this knife. Have seen some pictures of it before, but can`t find the site again.
Anyone got any ideas ?

Private purchase close combat knife. May well be WW1 in origin.

The blade is a shortened blade of the the Kampfmesser der Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe, (mark "W" on the blade ?), with odd hilt and bended crossguard.

The scabbard is German WWI
