    It looks to be a hanger for some kind of sidearm - sword or dagger. NH

    An early "bullett" hanger a rare piece and in fantastic condition , a very nice find

    Having just looked at the site, on that note, all I can say is "Ouch!" and you jammy sod for picking that up and at, presumably, a dirt cheap price by comparison to what WM are asking!
