It depends on where you aquire them, dealer or militaria show. I have picked up a few on e-bay, but I am a patient person. I know which ones I want and am willing to wait until I find one at the right price.

A lot more than Im willing to spend too!! 3500$ for a 3/4 size KM dagger!! Slap me silly and call me Susan!!
NB Patience - a good trait for a collector. Especially when in the miniature dagger game.

Ralph i have just been offered an amazing collection of these just had a look at the link you posted and there way out of my reach looking at them prices he has some fantastic minatures,

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought there was a distinct difference between the letter openers and miniature salesmen daggers, there seems to be some confusion, the salesmen daggers were produced simply as a selling aide,with literally all details replicated as on the full sized versions, the letter openers lacked these details
