Be careful with Ebay. Unless it is coming from a reputable dealer, always assume the item is a fake, until someone chimes in and says yes it is real, or no it isn't. Do you have some sort of edged weapon guide, or TR Collecting guide? I suggest you purchase one.

This is some kind of home made trench art style item at best, made from some original dagger parts.

IMO, $10 to $20 maximum for this. You need to do some reading and studying.

There is a ton of fake TR material out there, but this is a complete
'fantasy piece' made up to 'resemble' a WWII era knife.

This type/style never exsisted..............

I'm just curious as to what the eBay seller actually called this item? Also it would be helpful to know the eBay item # (if that's permitted in this forum) or seller ID just to peruse what other "interesting" items he might have.
