Thanks for the link Willi. The knife illustrated is even less convincing from a Nazi Germany point of view. But a pretty thing never the less. I expect fevered imaginations would attribute it to the "HJ" Division
Cheers, Ade.

We're on the same page.
That knife that is for sale is a used up piece of junk. It has been poorly re-pinned and two of the three blades are broken. The remaining blade has about 50% of the original steel remaining. I'd bet it rattles when you shake it, which is not a good sign for a "slip joint". LOL
This has been fun. I'll be be around. I've been wandering about this site for a couple of hours and thoroughly enjoying myself.
WWII aviation is a passion of mine as well. I LOVE the planes. I wish I could afford an FW-190 Anton or a Dora.
Hello
Maybe it is for engraving. Jus a though
Interesting.... Normally all the items on there start with BACKGROUND information & then onto The DESCRIPTION! As this item only has a description, to me that says alot! The knife that got me started to wondering about this thing is located at The Collector's Guild
Cheers
Dan
