Re: RAD Hewer Opinions please
Very rarely do you find a minty blade on these hewers as basically they were used as equipment as opposed to being a dress dagger . If you do come across a real nice blade the price will increase significantly and it would not be the bargain you are seeking I would have a pop at it !!

Re: RAD Hewer Opinions please
That is true Al, I know of about a dozen of these in near mint condition and they are all 1000+, the lowest I was ever offerered on a real nice one was 950, it seems anything lower then that will have a worn blade, the hangers alone for these cost as much as some daggers!! I wish I bought one ten years ago when they were half that price, I'm sure I could overlook the blade if the price was right but I guess it just comes down to personal preference and your bank account, which in my case is my wife haha.

Re: RAD Hewer Opinions please
Hi Max , i totally agree , i can't see the prices of these daggers diminishing in the future , so as an investment , blade quality is king for edged weapons . Of course , collecting of any kind is guided by personal preference in terms of quality , some like mint some like a "been there " feel . Maybe after the removal of the gunk on the blade it will possibly show a vast improvement , the grip and scabbard look nice , so if obtained at the right price it would be a good deal IMO ! As they say over here , you don't get a Rolls Royce for the price of a Ford Cortina !! LOL
