RAD Leader

I have come across a RAD Leader Hewer at a local antique store owned by a friend. He told me it came farm a vet's family, but I am questioning its authenticity. It looks to be authentic, except for it has black handle inserts instead of the white or yellow. Can anyone provide any information on it?

I would agree with Scott as there are some very good reproductions available.

We have to be careful otherwise this will be a rare funeral version
But more likely its a cheap repro

Finally got back to take pictures of the RAD leader. After doing some research it is clearly a fake so I didn't even bother. Luckily I had an original I borrowed to compare it to. Thanks to all for the replies.
