I go in spurts and try to group buy or trade when I can. Makes the deal procuring go a little better. Believe it or not I traded some old relic US and German militaria and a mint set of Baseball cards for these 8 pieces and walked away with $200 so at least my head will not roll with the wife's hand on the back of it I may just get her a pedicure. That way I can go get more

Easy and don't hurt yourself in the desert. I will bring this bad boy down when I visit and blaze a trail in the cactus fields for you bro so you don't get "pricked"...I know how you love to run wild and free.

I look forward to that day Buddy, but I have seen the light and know that the Choa and the Cholla is called the jumping cactus for a reason.
Them MoFo's will reach out and touch ya and they have barbed tips and pull the flesh when yanked out!!!! We will have to bring some fire water and talk with the great spirit about this journey!!!!!

Dang...I feel left out...But as you were talking about photography and a certain industry maybe its best if I stay away and let you two have whatever type of fun you were planning.....
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Very nice sawback, well conditioned & a great full rig. Certainly something for a collector to covet.
I've noticed two distinct sawtooth patterns on fireman bayonets, a thick blade with wide teeth (typically seen on Eickhorn marked & Eickhorn produced bayonets) & a smaller pattern as shown on your Leupold. After observing tons of them, I suspect there were a limited number of large producers of these hilts & blades who in turn sold them to the many smaller cottage makers out there.

Michael I would be honored to meet you and just so you know there would be no need for concern if I were to offer you a trip into the desert (Banjo music in the Background)! Just Jarhead antics. What happens in the desert stays in the desert. Did I mention the old mine shafts LMFAO!!!!!!
It would be awesome to meet both of you guy's!!!!!
