As this is not my bag I had it looked at by a local dealer who informs me that it is SS enlisted mans knot for a Generic 7th Company. Bit of a surprise as I got it as an army one not noticing the black stripes on the acorn? He believes it is ok and is keen to have it. Would it be best left here or switched to the SS forum?
