Looks to be incomplete , no trigger for releasing the blade . What would a broken one be worth ? Also the Legality issues .

Early last year I chanced upon a bugle on ebay which was described as 'antique Henry Potter bugle with many dents -see pictures for more details.' It had a 'buy it now' price of £50. The trouble was it was almost impossible to make anything out from the poor quality pictures.

I had a go at enhancing the pictures of the 1894 dated bugle, and came across the following inscription...
A Company, 1st V/B The Buffs, Ramsgate.

Yes you CAN drop lucky on ebay. my recently listed Wolsely helmet came off there last week as well. and that was another bargain.
